Madhu Agro Plantation is a vibrant coffee farm run by Nirmala Reddy and her daughter Rajashree. Located in the Eastern Ghats of Odisha, it flourishes with coffee, fruit trees, and spices, all grown under two tiers of shade. Native plants and rainwater ponds create a sanctuary for wildlife, while an almost entirely tribal women workforce helps bring Odisha’s lesser-known specialty coffee to the world, nurturing a truly cohesive ecosystem on and around the farm.
Madhu Agro focuses on specialty coffee processing with an emphasis on consistency and high quality. This sequentially fermented, double washed coffee delivers a clean cup with notes of citrus fruit, berries, chocolate, and toasted nuts with a smooth finish. Coffee has a mild acidity that is highlighted on a light medium roast with a deeper sweetness shining through on a medium or more developed roast profile. Easy to roast and enjoyable any way you brew it.
