Unroasted Green Coffee

Peaberry coffee beans are hand-sorted during the harvest process and full of rich, complex flavors. This coffee comes from Kerkeicoondah Estate located in the Chikmagalur district, within the state of Karnataka, India. One of the two Arabica coffee plantations owned by the Mammen family, the estate has been managed by the family for three generations. The coffee is shade-grown and inter-cropped with pepper, cocoa, and cardamom.

This coffee has a rich and complex flavor profile that can be unlocked at different roast levels. You may enjoy flavor notes of cherry, vanilla and chocolate with undertones of baking spices. We recommend gentle heat application to roast evenly. Coffee handles heat well and yields a good body with more development. Great for espresso as well as filter coffee.
